Dato Abdul Rahman bin Yunus, born in Malacca on 9 June 1960. Received his education at Malay College Kuala Kangsar and obtained his first degree in Bachelor of Science (Analytical Chemistry), Indiana University, USA and then pursue his Master in environment Chemistry from Indiana University, USA. Currently he is a technical advisor to Clariant Oilfield Services Malaysia for such consultancy job especially in Oil Technology Management, Training & Mentoring. In year 2005 –‐ 2010 he served Weatherford Solution Sdn. Bhd as a Regional Engineered Chemistry Technical Manager –‐ Asia Pacific which responsible in providing Technical Leadership, Advisory, Management & Training. Achievements obtained:
- Asia–‐Pacific Technical Interface with Weatherford R&D (San Antonio, Texas, USA) Kuala Lumpur Appointed As Center of Excellence for Water Injection & Production Chemicals Awarded Corporate Grant to Develop Water Injection Management Software
In year 1999 –‐ 2004 was attached to Champion Technologies Inc. Asia–‐Pacific as a Technical Manager which provides technical Service Support to Champion Operations in Asia–‐Pacific. Seconded to Chevron Thailand as Chemical Application Advisor.
1996 –‐ 1999 attached SII Chemtech Inc. as ASEAN General Manager. Seconded to Thaipo Ltd (Thailand) as Chemical Application Advisor.
